I read Act Three of the Crucible and my personal reaction was that I liked how it ended. The authors intent was to show that nobody during that time could be trusted because the devil could take over anyone, even those accused to be deceived by the devil couldn't do anything to plead their innocence because lying to defend yourself could be a sign of the devil also.
Act Three takes place in the Salem court house. Mr. Corey and Mr. Nurse came to disrupt the proceedings to try and convince the judges with evidence that the girls are lying. Judge Danforth is the lead judge in the trials and has no patience for them and dismisses them quickly. Than, John Proctor and Mary Warren showed up at the court to go against Abigail. Danforth questioned Mary and Proctor and decided to investigate the situation further. He called in Abigail and the girls and while examining Mary further, Parris tries to get Mary to demonstrate how she and the other girls would faint during trial but she couldn't faint. Abigail and the girl than started making accusations on Mary so they wouldn't be blamed, resulting with Mary Warren being accused. To attempt to break the power Abigail has of the judges, John admits to him having sex with Abigail, to show that Abigail is against him. The court didn't believe him and to see if John is telling the truth, the court called his wife Elizabeth in. John claims that Elizabeth never lies and so they asked Elizabeth but she denied the infidelity because she didn't know that John confessed to it, showing that Elizabeth indeed does lie. This results to Elizabeth being accused of lying and being in tact with the devil.

I read about the Salem Witch Trials and I enjoyed it. It shows how people thought back then and how they reacted to certain things, such as witch craft. As a style of notes I would use an outline because I could state the facts of what happened then below that I could explain why and how it happened.
This started from 1692 and ended in 1693 when people started accusing others of acting like witches. People eventually started believing the accusations and blaming certain people of being a witch. A council was made and those who were accused would have to go through the council and admit of being guilty and get all their land taken away from them, or they would deny it and get tortured until they admitted they were a witch. Those would admitted they were witches from the beginning would be placed in jail and those who didn't would either die from the torture or not be able to handle the torture and end up admitting they're witches and get sent to jail in pain.

I chose to read the story "Coyote and Buffalo". This story is a creation myth that was written by the Aknogan tribe. In the story there's a Coyote that lives on one side of the land and a Buffalo that lives on the other. The Buffalo got killed and his bones were left on the floor and Coyote found them and started making fun of the Buffalo. Out of no where the Buffalo came back to life and started chasing the Coyote to kill him but Coyote stopped him from killing him by convincing the Buffalo that he would make him new nicer horns to get back at the the Buffalo Bull for killing him. As a result the Buffalo got his new horns and killed Buffalo Bull. The Buffalo gave Coyote a cow in return that would supply him with meat forever just by cutting off a piece of the cow and burning the cut to heal it. Buffalo told him to never kill the cow and Coyote swore he wouldn't. Eventually Coyote got tired of the cow and killed it thinking Buffalo would never find out he killed him. But Buffalo found out and killed the Coyote for deceiving him.
I thought this was a very interesting story, it's non-realistic and has magical creations and i'm into that.
If I were to create notes on this I would use lists because everything happens in chronological order so it would be easier to just list the events in order.
